What styles of Lion Dance do we teach ?

  • Bamboo Pole (make powerful and gracious movement and jumps on poles)
  • Pole Jump (carry the lion up the upright 9m height bamboo pole, then turning and balancing itself on the top of the pole)

Like to learn Lion Dancing from the 2004 'Best of West ' Champions.

Lion dance is an integral part of the Jow Ga training. 

  • It is believed that the quality of a school's lion dance directly reflects of the quality of Kung Fu taught. 
  • Lion dance training is important in developing strength and power in the legs and upper body as well as improving footwork.

Who can take part ?

  • Lion dance training is reserved for senior students, as it requires strong foundations in Kung Fu.
